We’ve got all the supplies for you to unleash your wildest sweater creation. Just bring your imagination! This shindig is open to all ages, no sign-up needed, and it’s absolutely free. Join us from Monday, December 8th, to Wednesday, December 10th, until 5pm, or until our crafty stash runs dry!

Staying away from sugar during the holidays can feel like being a kid in a candy store with no allowance. But worry not! We’re rolling out healthier options so you can enjoy holiday goodies without missing out. Join us on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 2-5pm* (or until the goodies are gone). Taste test some delightful treats, and pick up the recipes so you can whip up and share these guilt-free delights. Come munch and mingle!

#ArtDropBowman is coming! We’ll be hiding small paintings created by a local artist. Find a piece of art for you to keep in Downtown Bowman! We’ll be posting clues to the whereabouts of the Art in the BRPL stories on Facebook and Instagram. Or gather some friends and scour Downtown Bowman for your unique find!
Fun begins at 10 AM with a Show & Share with light refreshments at the Library at 2 PM.

Please bring your own hooks and/or needles, as well as any specialized yarn that you need. The library will have some yarn and round looms in different sizes available to use, and snacks too!

Jigsaw Puzzle race
Our first BRPL Jigsaw Puzzle Competition of the new year is approaching! We have a limited space so make sure you register your team soon. Registration deadline is Thursday, January 22nd at 3 PM.
Puzzle Competition is Sunday, January 25th. The timer starts at 2PM when our contestants will rip open the paper covering their jigsaw puzzles and the puzzling begins. Teams have identical puzzles. The first team to complete their puzzle wins!
Snacks and refreshments provided.

Trick or Tater Potato Costume contest
Trick out your Tater at the Library! We’re holding a costume contest for Potatoes! Come to the Library on Tuesday, October 28th. Make a costume for your potato and we’ll vote on the winners. We’ll supply everything you need to create a costume for your spud (including the potato!).
All ages are welcome to participate. No registration required. All costumes must be handmade but you may include some purchased or pre-made elements. No obscene, graphic, or offensive costumes allowed.
