Vision: The Library is the community’s source for information, inspiration and connection. 

Goal 1: SPACE

1. Maximize the use of space outside the Library building for programming and community needs.

2. Assessing the Library’s current space to determine if existing spaces can be reconfigured for new uses.

Goal 2: TECHNOLOGY

1. Provide technology and training to meet the needs of the Library’s customers.

2. Provide opportunities and tools for Library users to create, innovate and share original material.

3. Maximize the Library’s website to increase public awareness of the Library’s resources and encourage broader use of services and programs.

Goal 3: PROGRAMMING

1. Provide resources and support to allow for expanded teen and adult programming.

2. Identify the needs and desires of unique audiences and create appropriate programming to address those needs.

Goal 4: OUTREACH

1. Identify and implement strategies for bringing new Bowman County residents into the Library community.

2. Take the Library out into the community, creating new venues and opportunities to engage potential Library users.

3. Identify new marketing strategies to increase visits, new users, and awareness of library services and offerings.

4. Create partnerships to provide services to targeted populations who could benefit from the Library’s resources (e.g., Southwest HealthCare support for our patrons in need).
